The Zuni Community

Traveling to the Zuni Reservation from the East side coming from Ramah, NM this is the very first thing you shall see as you enter our reservation. Welcome to the land of the Shalako!

The main access in and out of the Zuni Reservation is by traveling down the State Highway 53.

The original Halona Plaza, home of the famous Halona Chicken! Halona plaza is the original store, which has been converted to a sit-down restaurant and lapidary. The new store has been moved to the east side of the village.

Halona Marketplace is the secondary location of the original Halona Plaza that is located on the east side of the village. This Halona houses the store, bakery, deli, and meat deli.

A social dance that happens every fall season in October sponsored by the Zuni Healthy Lifestyles Program.

Women gather together for cooking days to support men when they take part in religious events.
